DUST & SPARK: the rules

The exact rules behind the weekly payouts: what earns DUST and SPARK, how the pools are sized and split, and why the numbers are what they are. The short version is DUST & weekly payouts.

Earning DUST

ActionDUSTExactly
Finish a curve2,000 per SOLNet SOL into the final stretch of a coin that graduates that week. On Corium coins, the stretch credit of the supernova bounty: sells in the stretch cancel buys. On pump.fun coins with a bounty, the credit in the program’s stretch ledger; forfeited credit counts 0.
Buy a stretch300 per SOLEvery final-stretch buy through Corium, on a Corium coin or a pump.fun coin, the week it is made, whether or not the coin finishes; up to 600 DUST per wallet per UTC day. A creator earns none on their own coin. Finishing pays on top.
Launch a coin300 and 1,000, then 500, then 5,000300 once others have put 2 SOL into your coin's curve and 1,000 once 10 SOL, the week you launched it (your own buys don't count); 500 the week the coin first reaches its final stretch; 5,000 the week it graduates.
Win a request5,000To the creator of the winning coin, the week it wins.
Fund a bounty500 per SOLThe week its coin graduates, for the share of your contribution that went to finishers other than you.
Trade10 per SOLEvery trade on a Corium coin and every swap on Corium Trade, together up to 300 DUST per wallet per UTC day. A coin’s creator earns none for trading their own coin.
Referrals10% of theirsOf each referral’s DUST that week, capped at 5,000 a week in total, and only in weeks the referral traded or did something on chain (referrals since 21 October 2026). Never taken from the referral. Your crew →
Conviction1,000 per SOLSOL bought under a quarter of a Corium coin’s curve, times the share of those tokens still held when it graduates, the week it graduates. A coin’s creator earns none on their own coin.
Daily twenty, crates, badgesSee Daily twentyTwenty on-chain achievements a day, a crate on the first buy of each coin each day (up to ten), and ten one-time badges. Read from the chain alone. It does not use the free weekly cap.
Genesis500 once per token, then 100 a weekA Seeker or Saga Genesis Token in a wallet on the account: the bonus once per token (by mint, whichever of the owner’s wallets holds it), the weekly grant every week the account opens its quests, eligibility for free DUST without a follower count, and ×1.25 weight on SPARK in the hunters’ pool.
Free DUSTSee Free DUSTWelcome bonus 250 and one-time quests (connecting X or Discord 200 each, the Telegram bot 150, the Telegram group and alerts channel 100 each, following @corium_so and @corium_bounties on X 75 each, the first trade on Corium Trade 200), once per account; a post about Corium on X mentioning @corium_so, 150 a week; 1 SOL traded on Corium Trade, 250 a week; today's star (20 to 500, times the streak, up to ×2) and the daily quests (30 each), together at most 1,500 a week; 150 per friend brought (50 when they connect an eligible account, 100 on their first trade), at most 3,000 a week. Only with an eligible X or Discord account on yours, and each grant once per account and per identity.

Linked wallets are one account: their DUST adds up, and the account’s caps apply once. Corium’s own wallets are excluded from the boards.

Earning SPARK

From the week of 2 November 2026, the hunters’ pool is split by SPARK. SPARK is SOL put into Corium and still held when a short hold ends, times the action’s weight, times 100 per SOL:

KindWeightExactly
Held×1A buy of a Corium coin, or a swap into any token on Corium Trade, still in the wallet 10 minutes later.
Stretch×2The same, bought in a coin’s final stretch: a Corium coin, or a pump.fun coin through Corium.
Finisher×3Stretch credit held through the coin’s graduation (the program’s stretch ledger, or the supernova bounty’s scoring).
Conviction×3Bought under a quarter of a Corium curve and still held when it graduated.
Creator×1The SOL others bought of your coin in its first 24 hours, counted from 0.5 SOL, up to 5 SOL.
Bounty×1SOL you funded into a bounty that paid other finishers.
  • A buy is pending the moment it is seen. When its hold ends, the wallet’s balance of that token is read on chain and the grant is confirmed for what the balance stayed above what the wallet held before the buy, or voided. A sale during the hold, or a later buy that shows one, counts against it.
  • Holding is in the wallet itself. Tokens moved to another wallet are not held. A pump.fun stretch buy made through Corium’s bracket locks its tokens in the stretch ledger instead; a credit there that isn’t forfeited counts.
  • Confirmed SPARK is never taken back. Selling a bag that already earned its SPARK and buying again counts the new buy. Buying on top of a bag and selling the same amount within the hold counts nothing.
  • The other kinds are written once, when they happen, already proven by the chain.
  • There is no daily cap. A creator earns no SPARK for buying their own Corium coin.
  • Lifetime SPARK is every week’s SPARK, plus the on-chain DUST of the weeks before SPARK (finishing, stretch buys, launches, bounties, requests, conviction), counted 1:1.

Hunter levels

Lifetime SPARK sets a Hunter level, which weighs SPARK in the hunters’ pool:

Hunter levelLifetime SPARKWeight
Scout100×1
Tracker1,000×1.05
Hunter5,000×1.1
Finisher20,000×1.15
Starbreaker75,000×1.25

Badges

Some accounts carry a badge next to their name: EARLY (an early adopter), SEEKER or SAGA (a Genesis token), and badges Corium gives for things that don’t happen on chain, such as helping early, running an event or finding a bug. Hover a badge, or tap it in the app, to see what it means. A badge can give:

  • DUST once or DUST every week, paid when you open Corium, like the early adopters’ 100. It counts on the community board.
  • A weight in the hunters’ pool on your SPARK. It multiplies with your Hunter level and a Genesis token, and all of them together stop at ×1.5.
  • Extra draw tickets, in any week you hold at least one ticket of your own.
  • Everything on the Feed and every profile look, for the team and partners. That opens what rank would, without giving DUST or rank.

Badges never touch DUST or SPARK themselves, and an account that farms or abuses the boards can be taken off them.

The week

  • A week runs from Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday. When it closes, its boards are frozen exactly as they stand and the next starts at zero.
  • Season 1 began on Friday 2 October 2026, so its first week ran ten days, to Monday 12 October. Every week after runs Monday to Monday.
  • A season is four weeks, and the next begins the moment one ends. Lifetime DUST, lifetime SPARK, ranks and Hunter levels add up across every week and season.

The pools

Three pools a week, each the larger of a floor and a share of Corium’s fees:

community pool = max(1.5 SOL, 10% × Corium’s fees that week)
hunters’ pool = max(1.5 SOL, 25% × Corium’s fees that week)
weekly draws = 30% × the hunters’ pool, on top of it

Corium’s fees are its share of the curve trading fees on every Corium coin (the treasury’s half; the other half goes to each coin’s bounty), plus the fees its locked pool positions earned, plus Corium Trade’s 0.25% on every swap, that week. The floors are paid from the treasury when fees don’t cover them. All three pools land in one payout, to the same wallet. The shares are set per season and said here when they change.

The split

The community pool:

  1. Qualify: at least 1,000 DUST that week, of which at least 500 earned (finishing, launching, requests, bounties and free DUST). Trading DUST and the 10% referral share count toward your payout, but not toward the 500.
  2. Top 20: the 20 qualifying accounts with the most DUST. An account that doesn’t qualify takes no place: the next qualifying one moves up.
  3. Pro rata: each gets pool × their DUST ÷ the top 20’s DUST, capped as below.
  4. Cap: no account takes more than 30% of the community pool; what a capped account can’t take is shared among the rest. With three or fewer qualifying, 30% each can’t add up to the whole pool, so the cap rises to an equal share (a third, a half, all of it): a pool is always paid out in full, never left over.

The hunters’ pool:

  • All of it goes to the accounts with at least 5 SPARK that week (the top 50 by SPARK), strictly pro rata by weighted SPARK, with no cap: SPARK is SOL put in and held, so the more you hunt, the more you take.
  • SPARK is weighted by your Hunter level (up to ×1.25) and a Genesis token (×1.25), together at most ×1.5, with any badge weight inside that limit.
  • DUST of any kind, free, play or referral, doesn’t count toward it.

The draws, on top of the hunters’ pool:

  • 30% more than the hunters’ pool is paid as ten prizes of equal size, drawn by tickets. They never take from what the hunters split.
  • One ticket for every coin you buy 0.05 SOL or more of in a day, net of that day’s sells of it, and still hold that day: a Corium coin, or a pump.fun stretch bought through Corium. Up to ten a day. A creator gets none on their own coin.
  • Ten different accounts are drawn when the week closes, each by its share of the tickets, from a Solana blockhash read at that moment and kept with the week, so anyone can redo the draw. With fewer ticket holders than ten, each holder wins once.

Payouts are sent in SOL to each account’s main wallet from the treasury after the week closes.

Why these numbers

Corium’s own share of a curve trade is about 0.25% of the volume (the coin’s bounty gets as much again), and Corium Trade’s fee is 0.25%. Leaving out locked-pool fees, the pools come to roughly:

Week’s volume on CoriumCorium’s feesCommunity poolHunters’ poolDraws
2,000 SOL5 SOL1.5 (floor)1.5 (floor)0.45
10,000 SOL25 SOL2.56.251.9
40,000 SOL100 SOL10257.5

So over 40% of what Corium earns goes back to its users every week once fees pass the floors, and more than that while they don't.

Farming doesn’t pay

AttemptWhy it fails
Wash-trade a coinTrading DUST is 10 per SOL, capped at 300 a day, and can’t qualify you for the community pool. In SPARK, a buy sold back within 10 minutes counts nothing. Every round trip pays fees.
Buy, move the tokens to another wallet, sell thereSPARK reads the buying wallet’s own balance: moved tokens aren’t held.
A creator washing their own coinCreators earn no trading DUST, and no SPARK for buying, on their own coins
Fund a bounty and finish it yourselfFunding DUST and SPARK count only what went to other finishers
Graduate your own coin aloneSelling 80% of the supply into an 85 SOL pool costs tens of SOL
Fake referrals50 a head until each referral trades; capped at 5,000 a week; can’t qualify you
Farm free DUST with many accountsOnly eligible accounts earn it, each identity once; daily DUST is capped at 1,500 a week; payouts are checked by hand

Ranks

Lifetime DUST (every week of every season, linked wallets included) sets a rank: Drifter 0, Ember 500, Kindler 2,500, Stoker 8,000, Forgehand 20,000, Starwright 50,000, Novabound 120,000, Heliarch 300,000, Singularity 750,000. Ranks never go down.

Rank decides what an account may post on the Feed once it has done the three steps, how much a day, and how far its posts travel on For you:

DrifterPosts and replies, coin chat105
EmberLinks to other sites, scored calls, pictures3015

On For you, a Drifter’s posts sort lower than average, and each rank above sorts higher. Rank also opens profile looks. Posting →

What’s on chain and what isn’t

DUST and SPARK are computed by Corium’s server from on-chain activity, and the weekly payouts are sent from the treasury. Unlike bounties and prizes, the pools aren’t held by the program: they’re a promise from Corium, not something the chain enforces.

If these docs and the chain disagree, the chain wins.
