Posting & calls

Posting on Corium is free. Show once that you're a person who uses Corium, and post and reply as much as your rank allows. Rank opens links, scored calls and pictures, and buys reach on For you. It never buys permission to speak.

Posting is never paid

There is no pass, subscription or fee for posting. The three steps below are the only gate, and DUST, which you earn, is the only thing rank is made of.

The three steps

Anyone signed in can read, like and repost. To post, reply and write in a coin's chat, do these once:

The three steps that open posting
Until the three steps are done, the composer shows them, with a button for each.
StepDone when
1. Sign in with a walletYour account has a wallet: Cori's wallet or your own.
2. Make one trade on CoriumAny wallet of yours has traded once on Corium: a coin's curve or Corium Trade, any size.
3. Link X or DiscordYour account has an X or a Discord login.

They keep bots off the Feed without a paywall: a trade costs a bot fees, and a linked account costs it an identity. The composer shows the three, ticked as you do them, with a button for each one left. In Earn → Start here, the quests that open posting are tagged opens posting, and each pays DUST.

What your rank opens

Your rank is your lifetime DUST, and it never goes down. Ranks →

Polls will open at Ember too when they come to the Feed. The Start here quests alone add up past 500 DUST, so an account with an eligible X or Discord can reach Ember on its first day.

Beyond what it opens, rank lifts your posts on For you: a Drifter's posts sort lower, and every rank above sorts higher. How For you is ranked →

Some accounts carry a badge from Corium that opens everything (the team, partners). It doesn't change their rank or their DUST.

Writing a post

WordsUp to 500 characters; 1,000 from Stoker.
PicturesUp to 4, up to 5 MB each. From Ember.
VideoOne, up to 30 MB, playing muted in the Feed. From Kindler.
CoinsUp to 4. Type $ and pick a coin, or paste its address. Each becomes a card with a buy button.
PeopleType @ and pick someone, up to 5 a post.
QuoteRepost with your own words on top.
ReplyAnswers a post in its thread.

You can delete your own posts. From Kindler you can pin one to your profile.

Mentions

Type @ and the suggestions find people by their X or Discord handle (with or without the @) or by their name on Corium. A suggestion shows the handle under the name, and goes into your post as @handle (as @Name for someone with no handle). An @handle typed out in full, without picking it, still mentions that account. A mention links to the person's profile and lands in their bell.

Limits

  • One post every 15 seconds; one reply every few seconds.
  • Posts an hour and a day by rank, as in the table above. When you reach one, the composer says so.
  • The same words twice in a day are refused. So are words three other accounts already posted in the last hour: say it your own way.

Calls

A post that names a coin is a call once you're Ember. Corium keeps the coin's price and market cap at the moment you post, and the post's coin card shows how it has done since: 4.2× since posted, with the market cap then and now. Below Ember the coin still rides along as a card, unscored.

The call is the post's first coin that had a price when you posted.

Your call record

Your profile keeps your record over the last 30 days: how many calls, how many hit (2× or better), the typical result, and your best call.

The callers' board

The Callers page on the Feed ranks the best callers of the last 7 or 30 days, the top 25. Each call adds its doublings: a 2× is +1, a 4× is +2, a halving −1. A single call counts at most +6 and at least −1, and every hit adds a little more on top. So many good calls beat one lucky one, and a bad call costs.

Call since postedCounts
8×+3, plus the hit
2×+1, plus the hit
Flat0
Halved−1
Down 90%−1 (the floor)

The board is worked out again after every new call.

Two kinds of calls

These are calls on the Feed. Corium's coin pages also have callouts in their chat, made with the megaphone by a wallet holding $1 of the coin, scored on the Callers leaderboard their own way. Your profile's Calls tab shows both.

Creators

  • Dev posts. A creator can always post about a coin they launched, whatever their steps or rank. The post is labelled Dev of that coin, so readers know who is talking. Rank still decides pictures, links and how many posts a day.
  • The launch post. On the Create page, write Your launch post (up to 500 characters). It goes on the Feed as yours the moment your star lights, under the coin's launch poster, in place of Corium's own card. One per coin, whatever your rank. Launching →

What Corium won't carry

The same rules hold for posts, replies, coin chat, callouts, names, bios and headlines.

WordsSlurs and hate; sexual content or selling it. Crude jokes, rude tickers, swearing and trash talk about coins are the genre and are fine.
ScamsAsking for a seed phrase or private key; "send some and get more back"; "DM me" for support, recovery, airdrops or signals; "validate" or "sync" your wallet; claiming to be Corium staff; WhatsApp contacts; "claim your airdrop" links; giveaways that ask you to send first. A refusal says why.
LinksLinks to corium.so and to the sites everyone uses (X, Telegram, Discord, explorers, charts, the big wallets and DEXes) are open to anyone who can post. Links to any other site open at Ember. Never carried: shortened links (paste the full one), bare IP addresses, addresses written to look like another, hosts named like a claim page or a wallet desk, and other sites using a known brand's name.
Pictures and videoEvery picture is checked by an automated reader before it's stored (nudity, gore, hate symbols, fake airdrop pages, QR codes to drainers), because a stored file is public and can't be taken back.

Posts are read again once they're out, and one that breaks the rules is taken down.

Reports

The ⋯ menu on any post has Report: scam or spam, nudity or sexual content, hate or harassment, impersonation, or something else. Three reports take a post down until a moderator looks. Moderators read every report, hide what breaks the rules, and can ban an account. See the Terms.
