Requests

Put up a prize for a coin you want to exist. Creators launch it on Corium to enter, and the first to graduate wins. Its creator and finishers split the prize; you get a bag of the winner at launch price and half of Corium’s fees on it.

At a glance
  • Sponsor: posts a title, a short brief and a prize of 0.05 to 15 SOL, open for 1, 3, 7 or 14 days.
  • Creators: enter by launching a coin on Corium, staking a small piece of their launch buy.
  • First entry to graduate wins. Its creator gets their share of the prize (you choose, up to 80%), its finishers the rest.
  • Sponsor gets the winner’s stake (tokens bought at launch price) and 50% of Corium’s fees on the winner.
  • No winner in time: the sponsor is refunded in full and every stake goes back to its creator. No Corium fee, ever.

How a request plays out

  1. You post a prize. “A supernova dog coin, 2 SOL, ends in 7 days.” You pick the creator’s share and how big a bag you want from the winner.
  2. Creators race. Each one launches a coin from the request (Enter on its page), staking part of their launch buy. Fans can Back it: open a bounty on an entry they like.
  3. First to graduate wins. The moment an entry reaches 85 SOL before the deadline, it’s marked the winner on chain, and a couple of minutes later the prize pays out.
  4. Everyone settles. The creator is paid, the finishers claim, you claim the winner’s stake, and the losing entries’ stakes go home.

For sponsors

What you set

Title and briefUp to 32 and 120 characters. They’re stored on chain with the request.
Prize0.05 to 15 SOL. On corium.so only you can add to it later (others back entries with bounties instead), and adding only raises what creators and finishers win.
Ends in1, 3, 7 or 14 days. An entry must graduate before then.
Creator’s share0% to 80% of the prize (default 50%) to the winning coin’s creator; the rest to its finishers. More to the creator draws more creators; more to finishers draws more buyers to carry it over the line.
Your bag from the winnerSmall, Fair or Large: sets each entry’s stake, so that at the graduation price it’s worth ¼, ½ or ¾ of the winning creator’s prize.

What you get if a coin wins

  1. The winner’s stake. Tokens its creator bought at launch, the cheapest price that coin ever had. At graduation, a launch buy is worth roughly 15× what it cost.
  2. Half of Corium’s fees on the winner: its curve fees from when you opened the request until it graduates, plus Corium’s share of its locked pool’s fees for 30 days after. Paid out in SOL from Corium’s treasury.

Example: a 2 SOL prize at 50% to the creator and a Fair bag. The winning creator gets 1 SOL; each entry stakes a launch buy of about 0.03 SOL, worth about 0.5 SOL at graduation, which is yours if that entry wins; the finishers split the other 1 SOL.

If nobody wins

A couple of minutes after the deadline, you can reclaim your whole prize. Each entry’s stake goes back to its creator.

Keeping it on topic

Nobody judges entries: if buyers graduate a coin, it wins. While an entry is still early on its curve, the sponsor can reject it if it’s off-topic, and its stake goes straight back to its creator.

For creators

  • Enter from the request’s page. You launch a coin as usual, with a launch buy of at least the minimum the form shows: a little more than the stake itself, because a launch buy pays the 1% trading fee. The stake part is held by the request; the rest of your buy is yours.
  • A coin can enter one request, ever, and only while it’s early on its curve, so a coin that’s already nearly graduated can’t be entered everywhere.
  • If you win, you get your share of the prize in SOL, you keep every token you bought apart from the stake, and you earn your normal creator fees. Winning always pays you: the stake is sized from the prize so your share is worth more than what you give up.
  • If you lose, or nobody wins, your stake comes back to you.
  • Winning a request earns 5,000 DUST, on top of 500 when your coin reaches its final stretch and 5,000 when it graduates. DUST →

For traders

A request’s entries are coins racing to graduate, with a prize waiting for whoever finishes the winner. The winner’s finishers are the wallets that bought its final stretch through Corium and held, exactly as for a bounty, and they split the finishers’ share by stretch credit. A winning coin can also carry its own supernova bounty and sponsors’ bounties: finishing it pays all of them.
