Cinema mode

For screenshots, clips and trailers. Click the eye icon in the top-left corner (Hide UI) to hide everything except the star. Click it again to bring the interface back.

With cinema mode on, you can steer the camera with the keyboard:

← →	Orbit around the star
↑ ↓	Dolly in and out
Shift + ↑ ↓	Tilt up and down
Shift + C	Play the scripted pull-back shot: a 25-second close-up of the star's surface, a tight orbit, then one accelerating spin out to full distance. It holds for the last 5 seconds, leaving room for a logo. Press again to restart; any arrow key cancels.
Shift + R	Replay the last push, with its fall into the star

Tap a key for a slow crawl, or hold it to speed up. The camera coasts to a stop when you let go.

Tips for recording

• Set Settings → Graphics to Ultra for the best-looking star.
• Open a past star (corium.so/star/<number>) and press play on its lifecycle to capture a full birth-to-nova run without waiting for a live one.
• Use a player with a callsign if you want names over the pushes in the shot.
• Shift + C is designed to be used as-is for an intro or outro.
